As it stands, the Just Dance 2024 release date is on October 24, 2023, almost a year after the release of its predecessor, Just Dance 2023.
Just Dance 2024 Edition launches on October 24.
Just Dance 2023 Edition (and beyond) will get new songs often and Just Dance+ will get songs from previous games on a weekly and monthly basis. We hope this helps clear things up. You can also read our review to dig deeper on this new entry of the series. Enjoy the new songs!
2023 introduces Just Dance+, which replaces the Just Dance Unlimited subscription in past games. With the subscription, you get access to 150 songs, though they're set to add onto that in the future as well as exclusive tracks.
Just Dance 2023 does have a free trial version that locks all but 2 of the songs available in the game. We recommend ensuring that you don't have that version of the game installed as well, and that you have your Nintendo account properly linked up with your Ubisoft account.

Is Just Dance 2023 only a code?
Some editions of Just Dance 2023 Edition come with a Code-In-Box*. To activate the game on PlayStation 5, you need to redeem your code. All players will receive one copy of the game with each Code-In-Box purchase.

Do note that the only Just Dance titles that support Just Dance Unlimited are: Just Dance 2019, Just Dance 2020, Just Dance 2021, and Just Dance 2022. However, you do not need a cartridge. You can purchase a digital version of the game. A: Just Dance Unlimited is not compatible with Just Dance 2023.
Go to the Songs tab. Use the Change Sorting button to switch through available sorting options until you reach the Pertinence section. Scroll down to the Just Dance Unlimited section. You can access an additional catalogue of songs in Just Dance 2023 Edition with Just Dance+.
Some routines are less child friendly, so I'd recommend playing the songs before your kids or watching online gameplay of them. The game has sadly removed kids mode but there are kid-ish songs such as "Walking On Sunshine", or "Zooby Doo". All Korean Pop songs offer easier versions for beginner dancers.
If you are experiencing connectivity issues in Just Dance 2023 Edition, this may be due to your NAT type. Should your NAT status show as anything other than Open or Single NAT, you may need to forward ports to your device.
A: You do need the Just Dance Controller Application on a mobile device to play Just Dance 2023.
Any activity that gets your heart rate up and makes you sweat can help you burn calories, and Just Dance is no exception. As a rough estimate, if you weigh 180 pounds and get down with some fast ballet or twist dancing for 30 minutes, you could burn around 251 calories. Diet is important too, of course.
Overall then, it's a decent outing for Just Dance 2023, a definite improvement on what's come before and a far less annoying version of the game than what we were served up in 2022.

Do Just Dance songs carry over?
Just Dance Unlimited is an on-demand streaming service that grants you access to a catalogue of tracks, playable for the duration of your purchased subscription. Any new content added to the Just Dance Unlimited catalogue will be exclusive to the newest edition of the game.
Please be aware that online services in Just Dance 2016, Just Dance 2017, and Just Dance 2018 will be unavailable from 3 July 2023. 4 Just Dance 2022
Every game in the series has been fairly well-received, but Just Dance 2022 received the most praise from critics. The game simply tracks movement so well and has an even more killer soundtracks than some of the older titles in the long-running series.
Once your songs are downloaded, you will be able to access the game offline by playing songs from the Songs Library. Please note that you will only be able to use a Joy-Con controller when playing in offline mode.
In the 2023 game, you'll have the option to create personal dance playlists. This allows you to dance to songs from your favorite genre or make a party with just party hits.
The "regular" game is probably more appropriate for the PG-13 crowd, with some (but certainly not all) dance moves and lyrics not appropriate for young kids.

Just Dance 2016 – 2022
Each episode of the dance game series features 40 songs. When you pay for a subscription to Just Dance Unlimited, you get access to an additional 650 songs, sometimes taken from other episodes of the series. Available on consoles.
And if you do activate just dance + you only get 40 more songs. While the just dance unlimited subscription service has over 700 songs. The just dance + subscription doesn't even have all the just dance 2022 songs it's a mix of some songs from just dance unlimited and a little bit of older just dance games.
